DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)

1. Turn ignition switch OFF and remove key.
2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait 90 seconds.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

With a front airbag deployment:
• Steering wheel pad (with airbag)
• Front passenger airbag assembly
• Driver side knee airbag assembly
• Front passenger side knee airbag assembly
• Front airbag sensor (left and right)
• Center airbag sensor assembly
• Front seat inner belt assembly
• Front seat outer belt assembly
• Front and rear seat belt pretensioners
• Any damaged restraint system part

With a side airbag deployment:
• Front seat airbag assembly
• Rear seat airbag assembly
• Side airbag sensor
• Rear airbag sensor (left and right)
• Replace occupant classification ECU, occupant detection sensor, seat cushion cover pad, seat cushion cover, and seat cushion heater, as 5 part set
• Center airbag sensor
• Rear seat outer belt assembly
• Front and rear seat belt pretensioners
• Any damaged restraint system part

With a side curtain airbag deployment:
• Curtain shield airbag assembly
• Side airbag sensor
• Center airbag sensor
• Front and rear seat belt pretensioners
• Any damaged restraint system part

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED

With a front airbag deployment:
• Spiral cable
• Steering wheel
• Seat position airbag sensor
• Instrument panel
• Instrument panel reinforcement
• SRS wire harnesses or connectors
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check

With a side airbag deployment:
• Front seat assembly
• Rear seat assembly
• SRS wire harnesses or connectors
• Rear seat belts
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check

With a side curtain airbag deployment:
• Front pillar garnish
• Headliner
• Body to which curtain airbag attaches
• SRS wire harnesses or connectors
• Rear seat belts
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check
