DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
1. Turn ignition switch to OFF and remove key.2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait at least 90 seconds.
When the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, the memory settings of each system will be cleared. Because of this, be sure to write down the settings of each system before starting work. When work is finished, reset the settings of each system as before. Never use a backup power supply from outside the vehicle to avoid erasing the memory in a system
If the vehicle is equipped with a mobile communication system, refer to the Precaution in the Introduction section of the service manual.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
When any of the airbags have deployed due to the collision, be sure to replace all sensors in the damaged areas and center airbag sensor assembly [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT; AIRBAG SENSOR,FRT DOOR; AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR; AIRBAG SENSOR,FLOOR; MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL][Deployed Airbags]
• Steering wheel mounted Airbag, [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Front passenger airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Drivers side Knee Airbag Assy, [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Passenger side Knee Airbag Assy, [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Side airbag [AIRBAG,FRONT SEAT]
• Curtain shield airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• If the side airbag was deployed, replace the separate type front seatback assembly with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
• Steering Pad• Steering wheel

• Curtain shield airbag
• Front seat side airbag
• Lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag

• Rear floor side airbag sensor
• Seat belt pretensioner
• Center airbag sensor

• Side airbag sensor
• Rear airbag sensor
• Occupant classification ECU
• Instrument panel
• Instrument panel reinforcement
• Seat position sensor
• Front pillar garnish
• Roof headlining
• SRS wire harness or connector
• Perform the zero point calibration and sensitivity check if the vehicle is brought to the workshop for repair due to an accident or collision
• Visually inspect and Replace any airbag sensor in undamaged areas that have registered a major collision or exhibit external damage
Replace any faulty parts of the seat belt systems (outer belt, inner belt, bolts, nuts, adjustable shoulder anchor, tether anchor hardware and other related parts). When inspecting a vehicle that was in a collision, be sure to check all of the seat belt systems regardless of whether or not the system was activated in the collision. Replace any damaged or malfunctioning systems.
