DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)

1. Remove key from the ignition.
2. Disconnect both battery leads, negative lead first.
3. Wait 10 minutes before commencing work.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

Seatbelt pre-tensioner deployment:
• Seatbelt pre-tensioners
• Front and rear seatbelt retractors used during the impact
• Restraints control module (RCM) if the three crashes/impacts have been stored
• Any restraint system part (brackets and fixings) or wiring identified by diagnostic check

Front airbag deployment • Driver and Passenger:
• Driver airbag module (if deployed)
• Passenger airbag module (if deployed)
• Flyleads (where applicable) connecting front airbags and pretensioners to SRS harness
• Front seatbelt buckle pre-tensioner
• Rear seatbelt pre-tensioners • if fitted
• Driver's seatbelt retractor • if fitted
• Clock spring
• Any frontal impact sensors that have been physically damaged or if a fault is being registered
• Restraints control module (RCM) if 3 crashes/impacts have been stored
• Any restraint system part (brackets and fixings) or wiring identified by diagnostic check

Side air bag deployment:
• Side curtain airbag (seat airbag) (if deployed)
• Any side impact sensors that have been physically damaged or if a fault is being registered
• Restraints control module (RCM) if 3 crashes/impacts have been stored
• Any restraint system part (brackets and fixings) or wiring identified by diagnostic check

Head airbag module deployment:
• Head airbag modules (roof airbag) (if deployed)
• Link lead between airbag gas generator and restraints control module (RCM) harness
• Airbag retaining clips
• Internal trim finisher
• Front seatbelt buckle pre-tensioners
• Any side impact sensors that have been physically damaged or if a fault is being registered
• Restraints control module (RCM) if the three crashes/impacts have been stored
• Any restraint system part (brackets and fixings) or wiring identified by diagnostic check

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED

Seatbelt pre-tensioner deployment:
• Seatbelt height adjusters
• Front seatbelts, retractors and webbing, tongue latching function, and body anchorage points
• Rear seatbelt buckles, webbing, buckle covers, tongue latching function, and body anchorage points

Front airbag deployment • Driver and Passenger:
• Front passenger's seat belt retractor and webbing, tongue latching function, 'D' loop and body anchorage point
• Rear seat belt buckles, webbing, buckle covers, body anchorage points, and tongue latching function
• Instrument panel moulding adjacent to passenger airbag module
• Steering wheel
• Front seat frame and head restraints
• Steering column • if adjustment is lost or if there are signs of collapse, replace
• Seatbelt height adjusters
• Rear seatbelts
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check

Side air bag deployment:
• Front seat belts, retractor and webbing, tongue latching function, 'D' loop and body anchorage point
• Rear seat belt buckles, webbing, buckle covers, body anchorage points, and tongue latching function
• Front seat frame and head restraints
• Door trim casing
• Seatbelt height adjusters
• Rear seatbelts

Head airbag module deployment:
• Headlining
• Component mounting brackets
• Front seatbelts, retractors and webbing, tongue latching function, and body anchorage points
• Rear seatbelt buckles, webbing, buckle covers, tongue latching function, and body anchorage points
• Adjacent trim components
• Seatbelt height adjusters
