1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
3. Wait at least 60 seconds or more before starting work

1. Frontal collision (driver’s airbag module assembly activated)
(1) Replace the following parts with new ones.
• Airbag control module [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Driver’s airbag module [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Knee airbag module [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Passenger’s airbag module[AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Side airbag module (if deployed) [AIRBAG,FRONT SEAT]
• Curtain airbag module (both sides / if deployed) [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Seat belt pretensioner (right and left)
• Lap seat belt pretensioner (passenger’s side only)
• Locking tongue (front seat only) (right and left)
• Front sub sensor (right and left) [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
• Instrument panel assembly (because it is integrated with passenger’s airbag module) (if passenger’s airbag module is deployed)
• Steering wheel
• Column assembly • steering
• Roll connector

2. KNEE AIRBAG MODULE
1. Frontal collision (knee airbag module activated)
(1) Replace the following parts with new ones.
• Airbag control module [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Driver’s airbag module [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Knee airbag module [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Passenger’s airbag module [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Curtain airbag module (both sides / if deployed)[AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Seat belt pretensioner (right and left)
• Lap seat belt pretensioner (passenger’s side only)
• Locking tongue (front seat only) (right and left)
• Front sub sensor (right and left) [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
• Instrument panel assembly (because it is integrated with passenger’s airbag module) (if passenger’s airbag module is deployed)
• Steering wheel

3. PASSENGER’S AIRBAG MODULE
1. Frontal collision (passenger’s airbag module activated)
(1) Replace the following parts with new ones.

2. Frontal collision (driver’s airbag module not activated)
Visually inspect the following items and replace any damaged or cracked part with a new one. Specially inspect the damage of airbag module body, mounting bracket and harness connector.
• Driver’s airbag module [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Knee airbag module [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Passenger’s airbag module[AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Seat belt pretensioner (right and left)

2. KNEE AIRBAG MODULE
1. Frontal collision (knee airbag module activated)
