DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
HYBRID:1) Turn off power switch
2) Disconnect the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal
3) Wait at least 90 seconds
ALL OTHERS:
1) Turn off engine switch
2) Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal
3) Wait at least 90 seconds

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
When airbags have deployed as the result of a collision, be sure to replace sensors in the damaged areas (anywhere in need of repair) and the airbag ECU assembly [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL; AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT; AIRBAG SENSOR,FRT DOOR; AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL][Deployed Airbags]

• OCS: Perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check
• As the SRS parts are very hot after being deployed, ensure that all wire harnesses and connectors around deployed SRS parts are not damaged
• Replace any other damaged parts as necessary
Be sure to perform initialization of the occupant detection ECU under any of the following conditions. If initialization is not performed, the SRS may not operate properly:
a. The occupant detection ECU is replaced.
b. Accessories (seatback tray, seat cover, etc.) are installed to the vehicle.
c. The passenger seat is removed from the vehicle, and then reinstalled or replaced.
d. The passenger airbag ON/OFF indicator light (OFF) comes on when the passenger seat is not occupied.
e. The vehicle is brought to a workshop for repair due to an accident or collision.
Replace the faulty parts of the seat belt systems (outer belt, inner belt, bolts, nuts, adjustable shoulder anchor, tether anchor hardware and other related parts). When inspecting a vehicle that was in a collision, be sure to check all of the seat belt systems regardless of whether or not the system was activated in the collision. Replace any damaged or malfunctioning systems
