Accessing Disable Procedure

To find the Jaguar Land Rover High-Voltage Disable Procedures:

  1. Go to topix.jaguar.jlrext.com or topix.landrover.jlrext.com
  2. Click English (if prompted)
  3. Click United States (if prompted)
  4. Click Authorised Repairer Login or Independent Operators Login (depends on your purchased subscription)
  5. Enter username and password
  6. Click Login
  7. Click Continue
  8. Enter vehicle
    • option 1: Enter VIN (top left side of webpage)
    • option 2: Enter Model and Year under Search via Model Selection
  9. Click Find
  10. Click Browse All, under Option Selections
  11. Click Documents (top of webpage)

Hybrid And Electric Vehicle Welding Best Practices

"If welding operations are required during a vehicle repair, the '12V System Disconnect' procedure listed on TOPIx MUST be completed. A HV Power Down will be necessary if required as part of the vehicle Mechanical Electrical Trim (MET) removal process or if the weld area is within 300 mm of any HV Component."


Refinish Precautions

"Paint oven repairs to a vehicle may be performed such that the vehicle is not in the paint oven for more than 1 hour and the paint oven air temperature should not be allowed to exceed 80°C (176°F)." (ambient temperature)
