DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)

1. Remove ignition key.
2. Disconnect and cover the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Wait 1 minute.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

For a front airbag deployment:
• Deployed airbag units
• Belt tensioner units
• Contact unit
• Passenger airbag triggering unit after the third time the airbag is triggered
• Any damaged restraint system part

For a side airbag deployment:
• Side airbag unit
• Sensor for the side airbag unit after the third time the side airbag is triggered
• Any damaged restraint system part

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED

For a front airbag deployment:
• Seat belt system
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check

For a side airbag deployment:
• Seat belt system
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check
