Request

Is there a sectioning procedure available for the rear rail?

Response

Subaru does not have a sectioning procedure for the rear rail.

Per I-CAR curriculum: “If vehicle maker procedures or recommendations are not available, DO NOT SECTION.”

Subaru has a partial replacement at factory seams procedure for the rear rail. The procedures can be found at techinfo.subaru.com

For short videos that show how to purchase and access the Subaru collision repair information, check out the Subaru OEM Information page.

A tool that may be used to find out if the vehicle maker has a partial replacement or sectioning procedure is the I-CAR developed OEM Partial Part Replacement Search.
