JLR MET Training Requirements
The Jaguar Land Rover ACADEMY is pleased to announce the start of the MET (Mechanical, Electrical and Trim) Training. This training is a new requirement for the Jaguar Land Rover Authorized Collision Repair Centers.

To ensure a successful pass rate, the selected technician should have experience in Electrical Diagnostics or EV repair; this should be a technician who has electrical diagnostic capability. This does NOT need to be a Panel Technician.
Each JLR Authorized Collision Repair facility must have one technician that have completed the following per the US Global Learner Journey:
- all of the required JLR online courses.
- CDMS03221 - MET Basic Electrics.
- CD2503538 - MET Bodyshop Air Conditioning System.
- CD2503585 - MET Bodyshop Mechanical and Trim Processes.
- CD2503586 - MET Bodyshop Steering and Wheel Alignment.
MET Job Role In Excellence |
If you already have a technician under the MET job role in Excellence, you have no further action be taken in the LMS. Please make sure all technicians are added under both Jaguar and Land Rover. Please make sure MET technicians are added to both Jaguar and Land Rover.
