(Note: Always disable the high-voltage battery following the vehicle makers repair information and follow all safety precautions.)

Refinish Precautions

High temperatures such as spraybooth bake cycles can affect the performance and life of HV batteries. Volkswagen states Risk of damaging the battery cells at too high of drying temperatures! Observe the maximum drying time of 30 minutes at a drying temperature of 80 °C (176 °F). Observe the maximum drying time of 45 minutes at a drying temperature of 80 °C (176 °F).
