What does Toyota say about repairing non-SRS wiring?

Response

Per I-CAR curriculum developed in cooperation with the vehicle maker: “The limitations to wire repairs are that no wire repairs may be made to passive restraint systems or high voltage wiring.”

Toyota does not have a specific procedure for general wire repair, they only have information on the connectors and the terminals. This information can be found in vehicle-specific service manuals under Wire Harness Repair Introduction. Service manuals can be found at: :techinfo.toyota.com
