Porsche does not have any position statement regarding pre- and post- repair scanning.
Per I-CAR curriculum: "When it comes to diagnostic scans, you don’t know what you don’t know. This simply means there is no way of knowing if there are diagnostic trouble codes or DTCs and system faults without a scan.”
