Ford

Ford does not have a sectioning procedure for the front lower rail.

Per I-CAR curriculum developed in cooperation with the vehicle maker: "Structural members are replaced according to the Ford Workshop Manual procedures. If there are no sectioning procedures available, the entire part is replaced."

Ford has a partial replacement at factory seams procedure for the front lower rail. The procedure can be found at: www.motorcraftservice.com

For short videos that show how to purchase and access the Ford collision repair information, check out the Ford OEM Information page.

A tool that may be used to find out if the vehicle maker has a partial replacement or sectioning procedure is the I-CAR developed OEM Partial Part Replacement Search.
