What does Ford say about plug weld hole size when welding aluminum?

Per the 2015 Ford F-150 Workshop manual, outer box side replacement installation procedure:

“8. NOTE: Blind rivets, solid rivet fasteners or aluminum metal inert gas (MIG) plug welds may be used in place of self-piercing rivet (SPR) fasteners after enlarging holes to 6.5 mm.”
