Ford has a sectioning procedure for the outer uniside. The procedure can be found at: www.motorcraftservice.com
Per the 2017 Ford F-250 Workshop manual: “Sectioning may be adjusted to meet repair requirement as long as door hinge, striker and restraints requirements are met.”
