Can the radiator core support be repaired?

Per the 2015 Lincoln MKS Workshop manual: “NOTICE: The radiator bolster is constructed of magnesium. If damage occurs to the radiator support component, it should not be repaired or incorrect vehicle operation may result. A new component should be installed. Refer to Section 501-02.”
