What does I-CAR say about protecting restraints systems when replacing a welded quarter panel?

Per I-CAR curriculum: The introduction of current or voltage spikes can destroy sensitive electronic parts.

When welding:

Keep the current path short by placing the work clamp as close to the weld site as possible on the same panel.
Disconnect and isolate both battery cables (remove the negative battery cable first).
Disconnect the high voltage (HV) battery service disconnect (if applicable).
Keep the welding machine as far away from vehicle computers as possible.
Route cables away from computers, wiring, and sensors.
Remove computers or other sensitive electronic parts if welding closer than 12'' (300 mm).
Protect glass and other areas of the vehicle with a welding blanket and spark deflection paper to protect from welding sparks.
