What does Toyota say about using adhesive bonding for panel replacement?
Per Toyota Bulletin #176 - Approved Collision Repair Methods:
Approved Repair Methods is “Adhesive & Weld Bonding at Specified Locations” and a "Method Not Approved" is "Substituting Adhesive for Welds".
