Honda Has Released The 2023 HR-V Model Body Repair News

Honda has released a Body Repair News bulletin for the 2023 Honda HR-V. This document provides relevant repair information at a glance for this redesigned vehicle.

The 2023 HR-V Model Series: New Body Repair Information document gives an overview of some of the features on this 2023 model that may cause changes on how the vehicle is repaired.

It highlights updates to the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) from Honda, including calibration requirements and a template to aid in repair or replace considerations of rear bumpers.

The camera near the rearview mirror (Multipurpose Camera) will no longer be accompanied by a millimeter radar unit.

Honda states: "The multipurpose camera allows both dynamic and static aiming. Technicians now have the option to do either type of aiming depending on what their repair facility allows, or weather and traffic conditions."

The sensors in the quarter panel behind the bumper cover (Blind Spot Information (BSI)) are now capable of self-learning after the learning status is reset with the i-HDS.

Honda provides details for repair considerations of the laser brazed roof, radiator core support (bulkhead).
