How To Find BMW Position Statements
Position statements are an important part of the repair process. They highlight specific information on areas such as, pre- and post-scanning, calibration, bumper cover repair, recycled parts, etc. These statements are sometimes used in conjunction with repair procedures, or they may update information found within repair procedures.
BMW provides their position statements (service bulletins) on their website. Access to them will require a paid subscription. To find position statements:
- Go to www.bmwtechinfo.com
- Log in or purchase a subscription
- Click on Service Information (top left-hand side of webpage)
- Select Service Bulletins from the dropdown list
- In the new window, either use the search bar at the top of the page, or the search bar to the right of the page
- Type in the name of the document and click on the magnifying glass
Knowing where to find OEM position statements, and how to access them, will help ensure a complete, safe, and quality repair.
