Repairer Driven News: Cadillac Automated Lane Changing

Repairer Driven News (RDN) released an article on Cadillac’s upgraded version of their hands-free driving system, Super Cruise. This improved system will allow the vehicle to change lanes with no driver input, other than engaging the turn signal.

This system is made possible due to GM’s new digital vehicle platform. It has new software and hardware, which will make it capable of processing five times more data per hour than the current system.

This new electronic platform is expected to be utilized through most of GM’s entire line by 2023. As always, this will require you to follow OEM procedures for repair and calibration of these complex systems.
