2019 Mazda3 Release

The 2019 Mazda3 was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show this year with the goal of increasing driver comfort. This includes a redesigned body and engine. In addition, more advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) will be available.

Mazda has introduced a new ADAS feature to the Mazda3 called i-Activsense. This system includes collision breaking, front cross traffic alert, Mazda’s new Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS) system, and a driver monitoring system that assesses driver fatigue. In addition, Mazda has stated: “The ratio of ultra-high-tensile steel rated of 980MPa or higher is greatly increased, from the 3% used on the previous model to 30% on the new Mazda3. This combines with the addition of a new perimeter beam and rear side frames that deform in an accordion-style pattern to create a solid body that can stand up to impact force and a frame structure that effectively absorbs energy.” The full article on the 2019 Mazda3 can be viewed on their website.
