Repairer Driven News: Identifying Steering and Suspension Problems

With all of the different drivetrain options available, it can get tricky to diagnose and identify damage from a collision. A recent article from Repairer Driven News (RDN) highlights an episode from Repair University. The episode covers how to identify damaged steering, suspension, and drivetrain components.

The article explains that just because you can’t see physical damage to a component doesn’t mean that it isn’t damaged. A video is shown of a parked vehicle that was hit, pushed forward, and then it springs back. Without this video to prove what happened, it would be hard to know that there was suspension damage.
