Toyota/Lexus/Scion Restraints Wiring
The question is often asked, "Can supplemental restraints system wiring be repaired?" The answer is: it depends on the vehicle maker. Let's take a look at Toyota's position on this subject.
Per Toyota CRIB #160 SRS Precautions: "Never repair SRS wiring or connectors. Replace damaged wiring."
Always refer to Toyota/Lexus service information for the most up-to-date CRIB information.
