Anchoring Considerations: Chevrolet Blazer EV

Anchoring the vehicle for repair is as critical as other repair operations. When done incorrectly, it may lead to unforeseen damage.

While researching a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV, a caution statement is found pertaining to the proper anchoring of the vehicle. This statement is found in the vehicle-specific service manual ➤ Preface ➤ Dangers, Warnings, And Cautions ➤ Collision Anchoring Caution:

"Caution: Proper anchoring of the vehicle is required before pulling on the vehicle structure. The vehicle must be properly anchored at all four corners of the passenger compartment, to keep the HV battery pack from being damaged during the repair. Removal of the HV battery pack is recommended, if the vehicle can not be properly anchored."

Always refer to vehicle-specific repair information prior to proceeding with any repair.
