DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
When working on pyrotechnic components and on the airbag control module -J234• , the battery ground cable must be disconnected with the ignition switched on. Then coverthe negative pole.. Wait for 10 seconds after disconnecting the battery.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
• All triggered airbag units• Support and bracket for the front passenger airbag unit with a
deployed front passenger airbag.
• Return ring with slip ring, if driver side airbag deployed. [CLOCK SPRING]
• All seat belts with triggered belt tensioners
– All faulty components
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
• If the seat rails and/or seat pan is replaced after an accident due to deformations resulting from a crash, the passive occupant detection system must be replaced using the passive occupant detection system service kit -G452• .• Child seat anchors must be checked for damage or deformations
after an accident
• Seat belt system
If needed (visual inspection), the following must also be replaced:
all faulty components
