DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)

Prior to starting work on the airbag system, always disconnect the ground cable. Work can begin immediately after the battery is disconnected. A waiting period is not necessary.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

Always replace the following:
• All deployed airbag units with control modules and sensors
• Support for front passenger module, with a deployed front passenger airbag
• Coil connector with slip ring [CLOCK SPRING], if driver side airbag deployed.
• All seat belts with triggered belt tensioners
– All damaged components

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED

Replace as necessary (visual inspection):
– All damaged components
