DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)

1. Turn ignition switch to OFF and remove key.
2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait at least 90 seconds.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

When any of the airbags have deployed due to the collision, be sure to replace all sensors in the damaged areas and center airbag sensor assembly.

• Steering Pad, [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL], [if deployed]
• Front Passenger Airbag Assembly [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL], [if deployed]
• Front seat side airbag assembly [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT], [if deployed]
• Curtain shield airbag assembly [AIRBAG,ROOF], [if deployed]
• When airbags have deployed as the result of a collision, be certain to replace all airbag sensors in the damaged area (anywhere in need of repair) [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT; AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR; AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR]
• Center airbag sensor assembly [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]

• Side Airbag Sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR]
• Rear Airbag Sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR]
• Seat Position Airbag Sensor
• Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly
• Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly
• Occupant Classification ECU
• Steering wheel
• Instrument panel or Instrument panel reinforcement
• Front pillar garnish and Headliner
• Perform the zero point calibration and sensitivity check Occupant Classification ECU
• Wire harnesses and connectors
• Replace the faulty parts of the seat belt systems (outer belt, inner belt, bolts, nuts, adjustable shoulder anchor, tether anchor hardware and other related parts). When inspecting a vehicle that was in a collision, be sure to check all of the seat belt systems regardless of whether or not the system was activated in the collision. Replace any damaged or malfunctioning systems
• It is also necessary to replace any airbag sensor in undamaged areas that have registered a major collision
• If any of these parts have been dropped, or a defect is found (e.g. cracks, dents or any other defects) in any of the housings, brackets or connectors, then replace the part with a new one
