1. Turn engine switch OFF and remove key.2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait 90 seconds.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
When any of the airbags have deployed due to the collision, be sure to replace all sensors in the damaged areas [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT; AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE; AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL][Deployed Airbags]
• Steering wheel mounted airbag [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Front passenger airbag assembly [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Front seat side airbag assembly [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT]
• Front seat airbag sub-assembly [AIRBAG,FRT SEAT CUSHION]
• Curtain shield airbag assembly [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Center airbag sensor assembly [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• If the front seat airbag sub-assembly was deployed, [AIRBAG,FRT SEAT CUSHION] replace the front seat airbag sub-assembly, front seat frame with adjuster assembly, front seat cushion cover with pad with a new one.
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
Always confirm DTCs before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal• Spiral cable [CLOCK SPRING]
• Steering Pad [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Steering wheel
• Front passenger airbag [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Instrument panel
• Instrument panel reinforcement
• Curtain shield airbag [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Front seat side airbag [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT]
• Front seat airbag sub-assembly [AIRBAG,FRT SEAT CUSHION]
• Seat belt pretensioner
• Center airbag sensor [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Front airbag sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
• Side airbag sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE]
• Rear airbag sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• Occupant classification ECU
• Seat position airbag sensor
• Perform the initialization of the occupant classification ECU
• Front pillar garnish and Headliner
• Wire harnesses and connectors
• If an SRS part has been dropped, or if there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case, bracket or connector, replace the SRS part with a new one.
