DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
1. Turn ignition switch OFF2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery
3. Wait at least three minutes before beginning work
Before removing any of the SRS parts (including the disconnection of the connectors), always disconnect the SRS connector

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
When the front airbag(s) deployed after a collision, replace the following items:• SRSCM [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Deployed airbag(s) [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL; AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Seat belt pretensioner(s)
• Driver anchor pretensioner
• Front impact sensors [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
• Replace the crash pad which is damaged while passenger airbag is deployed
When the side/curtain airbag(s) deployed after a collision, replace the following items.
• SRSCM [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Deployed airbag(s) [AIRBAG & SEAT BACK ASSY; AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Side impact sensor(s) for the crash side(s) [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRT DOOR; AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• Seat belt pretensioner (s)
• Driver anchor pretensioner (only rollover crash event)
• The side airbag cannot be disassembled from the seat back assembly, so replace assembly when replacing the side airbag [AIRBAG & SEAT BACK ASSY]
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
Before doing any SRS repairs, use the GDS Pro to check for DTCs. Refer to the Diagnostic Trouble Code list for repairing of the related DTCs.• Inspect the clock spring for heat damage. If any damage found, replace the clock spring.
• Steering wheel
• After the vehicle is completely repaired, confirm the SRS airbag system is OK
