DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
1. Turn ignition switch to ”LOCK” position2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait at least 90 seconds.
When the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, the memory settings of each system will be cleared. Because of this, be sure to write down the settings of each system before starting work. When work is finished, reset the settings of each system as before. Never use a backup power supply from outside the vehicle to avoid erasing the memory in a system

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
When any of the airbags have deployed, replace:• Steering pad, [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL], [If Deployed]
• Driver side knee airbag assembly [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER], [If Deployed]
• Front passenger airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL], [If Deployed]
• Front passenger airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER], [If Deployed]
• Front seat airbag assembly, [AIRBAG & SEAT BACK ASSY], [If Deployed]
• Curtain shield airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,ROOF], [If Deployed]
• The front airbag sensor on the impacted side should be
replaced after the steering pad or front passenger airbag
assembly has deployed [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
• The side airbag sensor on the impacted side should be
replaced after the front seat side airbag assembly and curtain
shield airbag assembly have deployed [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE]
• The rear airbag sensor on the impacted side should be replaced after the curtain shield airbag assembly has deployed [AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• The center airbag sensor assembly should be replaced after any of the airbags has deployed, as it has been subjected to the impact [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Any damaged restraint system part
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
• Steering pad [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]• Front passenger airbag [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Curtain shield airbag [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Front seat side airbag [AIRBAG & SEAT BACK ASSY]
• Seat belt pretensioner
• Center airbag sensor [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Front airbag sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
• Side airbag sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE]
• Rear airbag sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• Occupant classification ECU
• Seat position airbag sensor
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check
