DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
Before doing any SRS repairs, check the DTCs for the less obvious deployed components (seat belt tensioners, front impact sensors, side airbag sensors, etc.)Do not replace the OPDS unit ('07 model) or ODS unit ('08-10 models) unless it is physically damaged or a specific fault was found during DTC troubleshooting
Before removing the SRS unit connectors, always disconnect the appropriate SRS parts connectors.
1. Make sure the ignition switch is in LOCK (0).
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable
3. Wait at least 3 minutes.
