PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

After a collision where the seat belt tensioners deployed, replace these items:
• SRS unit [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Seat belt tensioners
• Front impact sensors [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]

After a collision where the front airbag(s) and driver's knee airbag deployed, replace these items:
• SRS unit [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Deployed front airbag(s) and driver's knee airbag [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL; AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER; AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Front seat belt(s)
• Front impact sensor(s) [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
• Dashboard (deployed front passenger's airbag)
• Driver's dashboard center lower cover
• Driver's dashboard lower cover

After a collision where the side airbag deployed, replace the items for the side(s) that deployed:
• SRS unit [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Deployed side airbag(s) [AIRBAG,FRONT SEAT] and with new Reinforcing cloth rear hooks
• Side impact sensor(s) (first) [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE] for the side(s) that deployed
• Side impact sensor(s) (second) [AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL] for the side(s) that deployed
• Rear safing sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR]
• B-pillar lower trim
• Seat frame and related parts, for the side(s) that deployed. If the seat-back cover is split, it must be replaced.

After a collision where a side curtain airbag has deployed, replace the items for the side(s) that deployed:
• SRS unit [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Deployed side curtain airbag(s) [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Front seat belt(s)
• If the seat belt tensioner has been deployed, replace the front seat belt protector with a new one.
• Side impact sensor(s) (first) [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE] for the side(s) that deployed
• Side impact sensor(s) (second) [AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL] for the side(s) that deployed
• Rear safing sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR]
• A-pillar trim
• B-pillar upper trim
• Quarter pillar trim

• Rear grab handle
• All related trim clips

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED

• If the harness is broken or damaged in the areas relevant to the (SRS) replacement parts, replace the harness, do not repair it.
• Before doing any SRS repairs, check for DTCs with the HDS, for the less obvious deployed components (front seat belt tensioners, front impact sensors, side impact sensors, etc.).
• Do not replace the front passenger's weight sensor unit unless it is physically damaged or a specific fault was found during DTC troubleshooting because it could complicate troubleshooting other DTCs.
• After a vehicle collision, do the front passenger's weight sensor unit operation check

During the repair process, inspect these areas:
• Inspect all the SRS wire harnesses. Replace, do not repair, any damaged harnesses.
• Inspect the cable reel for heat damage. If there is any damage, replace the cable reel [CLOCK SPRING]

• Seatbelts and seatbelt mounting points
• Seats and seat mounting points
• After a moderate to severe side or rear collision, inspect for any damage on the side curtain airbag or other related components. Replace the components as needed
• Front Passenger's Weight Sensor Output Check After a Vehicle Collision inspection procedure

After a collision where the airbags or the tensioners do not deploy, inspect for any damage or any deformation on the SRS unit, the front impact sensors, the side impact
sensors, and the rear safing sensor. If there is any damage, replace the SRS unit and/or the sensors. Replace all damaged parts
