Accessing Disable Procedure
To find the Jaguar Land Rover High-Voltage Disable Procedures:
- Go to topix.jaguar.jlrext.com or topix.landrover.jlrext.com
- Click English (if prompted)
- Click United States (if prompted)
- Click Authorised Repairer Login or Independent Operators Login (depends on your purchased subscription)
- Enter username and password
- Click Login
- Click Continue
- Enter vehicle
- option 1: Enter VIN (top left corner of webpage)
- option 2: Enter Model and Year under Search via Model Selection
- Click Find
- Click Browse All, under Option Selection
- Click Documents (top of webpage)
- Click Workshop Manual (left of webpage)
- Click Workshop Manual

Hybrid And Electric Vehicle Welding Best Practices
"Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) Vehicles:
- Complete the 12v System Disconnect Procedure
- Remove any Engine Control Module (ECM)s within 500 mm of the weld area."
"Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV):
- Complete The MHEV Power Down procedure."
Refinish Precautions
"Paint oven repairs to a vehicle may be performed such that the vehicle is not in the paint oven for more than 1 hour and the paint oven air temperature should not be allowed to exceed 80°C (176°F)." (ambient temperature)
