GM Repair Insights Website

The GM Repair Insights website is back up after being down for a number of months. The Repairer News section of the site has solutions to specific issues for GM vehicles, such as wind noise on full-size trucks. With the re-publishing of this website, comes two new issues of the Insights magazine.

The Winter 2020 issue features an article on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) sensors and windshield glass. The role they play in ADAS, and the importance of choosing the correct parts. There is also an article that covers full-size pickup frame repair. The article highlights the importance of utilizing three-dimensional measuring equipment. In addition, it specifies why removing certain components is critical for safety and for easier access to the sectioning location. Keep your eye out for a link at the bottom of the article for a video of the frame repair procedure.

I-CAR RTS will continue to make you aware of new editions of Insights magazine as they become available on the GM Repair Insights website. Always follow OEM procedures to ensure a complete, safe, and quality repair.
